Meet Dr. Kyung-soo Choi
Dr. Choi attended the University of Illinois at Chicago, School of Dentistry and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1996. He completed his general practice residency at Evanston hospital in Evanston, Illinois. He conducted his Post Graduate schooling at Kyungbook National University School of Dentistry and received his Doctor of Philosophy in Dental Science in 2010. He also received his Master of Science from Loma Linda University in 2004. He completed his Endodontic Residency at University of Southern Californian, Ostrow School of Dentistry.
Dr. Choi instructed for eight years at Pusan National University in Busan, South Korea as a professor in the Department of Prosthodontics from 2006 to 2014. He has had various publications in the International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Implants and is one of the co-authors of a chapter in 7th Edition of Ingle’s Endodontic Textbook.
Dr. Kyung-soo Choi is also the inventor of the EZI mini-implant and Taegeuk scalloped implant. These miniature titanium implants are the roots of your tooth that can be incorporated into the base of your denture.
Dr. Choi and his wife are both born and raised in South Korea and they have two beautiful children. Dr. Choi enjoys playing tennis and golf and watching movies when he finds the time.
